We can teach your curriculum! Many times dealers choose to have a blended curriculum, taking the best from both worlds and combining them. We can customize our classes to suit your needs, be it strictly your way, our way, or combined.
Let’s be honest for a moment — you’re obviously here reading this for a reason. Many of our dealerships use in-house trainers, but they still want us to come in and conduct training. For reasons they have disclosed to us, most say they just want a fresh point of view, they want their trainers to see how we do things, or they figure if we can come with even a few new breadcrumbs of knowledge, and it makes their dealership just a tiny bit stronger, it was worth it. That’s the way we look at it as well — why would you not want a seasoned trainer/public speaker coming to your dealership to spread some knowledge around and to motivate everyone? We can’t make things worse, we can only make them better!
We take education seriously. And while we do not hire sub par trainers, we feel that our track record speaks for itself. We could never have stayed in business for close to 20 years if we did horrible training, much like how one couldn’t last at a dealership for 20 years if one couldn’t sell a car. We hate to say, “take our word for it,” but we kind of have to with a question like this. We teach several different classes including “Introduction to Auto Sales,“ “Advanced Auto Sales,” “Phone Sales,” and others. Most dealerships want to know about our basic sales training course for new hires. The major topics taught are: The meet and greet, qualify, selection, feature benefit walk-around, test drives, silent evaluations, service tours, appraisals, negotiations, after-sale, delivery, CSI, thank you cards, follow up, and prospecting (internet and in-person). Most new-hires are capable of selling cars directly out of class with no further instruction needed by your managers!
To sum it up in a sentence or two on this FAQ page, we are absolutely not about closing lines. Our philosophy is this: We need to wow the customer. We need to give the customers such an unexpected and incredible experience that they now feel compelled to do business with us because they were never treated this good anywhere else ever before. Not at all. Usually a trainer only needs ten minutes of your time when he or she arrives and then never needs to see you again until it’s time to shake hands and say goodbye. While we absolutely prefer to have a more personable relationship with our General Managers, we understand how hectic running a dealership can be. You are in charge of how much time is spent with our trainers, but all we truly need are those first ten minutes.
Absolutely! How does one grow from low volume to high volume? Through proper training. There are plenty of techniques and strategies that even our most rural clients use to increase business. Are your sales people on social media? Are they on forums? Are they making videos or posting pictures online to expand your presence? Are they relationship selling? Here’s the truth about placing job ads: you will never find those Rock Stars you desire. Why? Because they all have jobs and are happily making money. Instead, when you place a job ad, you normally attract the unemployed crowd who recently quit or got fired. Recruiters don’t just place job ads. We have access to thousands of resumes and actively call people, who are currently employed and not looking for a job, and convince them to consider another opportunity. In essence, we actively pull them out of their current positions and give them to you. Your HR department doesn’t have the time, doesn’t know how, and could never do this. But we can.

We do have access to assessment tests that we can use for potential applicants upon your request. We also find that many dealerships want to use their own tests, so we can administer them on your behalf for you to review prior to setting up any in-person interviews. While a face to face meeting is never totally out of the question, since we are a global company, it does have its own unique set of challenges. If we have someone local to you, by all means we can set up a face to face meeting. If we don’t have anyone local, we can set up a video conference instead followed up by a flight and an in-person meeting if it is still warranted.
